- Someone posted a list of 5 or 6 characters that you should always leave available so that you would have someone for any of Cecil's tasks. But I didn't really understand how valuable that was at the time I read it, and now I can't find that list again. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and can reference the correct post?

Yea this makes no sense.
You can always store a character to free them from their job if you need them for Cecil's tasks- This link shows the levels of monsarno and which character groups will be needed http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/0/10326784.page
Personally, I'll be storing buildings instead of keeping characters free. Not all character groups will have tasks each day and keeping one from each free will mean losing event currency. - These were the characters to leave free.
COMIC BOOK GUY (brainiac, entrepreneur, pessimist, glutton)
KRUSTY (celebrity, high roller, k00k)
NED FLANDERS (Senior, saint)
MAYOR QUIMBY (civil servant, criminal)
RALPH (youngster, dimwit)

The groups were: Dimwits, Gluttons, Pessimists, Youngsters, Seniors, and Criminals.
I haven't been using the suggested characters because I like having Ralph and Comic Book Guy (and later Quimby and Ned) earning event currency non-stop. I'll use Quimby if I need a glutton, but I'll use Lou or Freddy Quimby if I need a civil servant. Like Nissa762, I'm keeping everyone working, and then I store a building when I need to use someone for Cecil's task.- If you meant the groups that can work in the research building it's: dimwits, gluten and youngsters so far as lvl 3...

- I'm confused by this info. Who do I need to keep available and when? I need to take advantage of the event currency earning tasks such as the corn one. But those who can do it are tied up for 16 hours. Something I don't want to ruin myself by having them on it when they need to be on a cecil task. I'm already 2 days behind because the game wasn't updated despite me having google play set to auto update TSTO and no popup about the update.
- Actually, if you don't want to store a building to free up a character for Cecil's tasks (and that's a good plan, I'm just strategizing the alternative), you may be able to keep fewer than 5 characters free. (And thanks to annettemarc for the idea of a short list!) So, for example, Skinner doesn't have game currency tasks, I don't have to worry about Brainiacs. (I am not doing any jobs other than the event currency tasks.)
I have a moderate number of premium characters, so I found that the only categories where all of my characters can do game currency tasks are Criminals, Pessimists, and Seniors. So now I know that I can get away with just keeping Quimby and Grampa free...or storing Town Hall or the Retirement Castle when needed.
If you want to pare down your list even further, I looked at the chart LPNintendoITA posted, and checked each group individually. If you're only sending your characters on game currency tasks and keeping the rest free, as I am, you can use the Town Hall census to check who is free and who is on an event task. s_padley wrote:

Does anyone know, If the hospital and elementary school are stored, will that stop the few 6 hour tasks? (I know the simpson house can't be stored). Those 6 hour tasks that come after 6pm are a killer for me (I like to sleep like a normal person)!
