Does the game let you know when you've tapped the last criminal?

This has been by far the most fun event for me. I might even spend real money to get spider pig and the tar pits.

After having the fed alert, it's not unreasonable to expect the same in this update, so you're not going nuts :) The criminals are a bit less speedy than the Feds, so generally seem easier to spot. Would have been nice though.

Not that my advice is worth jack, but, if it's any help, i don't have much premium stuff as I usually only spend the donuts that I earn in game. However, I bought some donuts just so I could get spider pig and haven't stopped smiling since (well, bit of an exaggeration, but you get my drift). I also then splurged on the tar pits and, after the all round awesomeness of SP, was expecting it to be a bit "meh". Both the tar pits and P-Rex are also super cool. So I say, if you can spare the dosh, go for it - but please don't hold me responsible if you're disappointed - I couldnt bear having that on my conscience :wink:

Ha! I won't come gunning for you, promise. I think the last time I spent actual cash was to get Springfield mountain, so it's been a while.

I was of the impression that there was no I got them all scenario. The first day of the event I kept tapping and tapping and tapping them and they just kept coming and coming for a full hour with no end in sight. Even now when in past events after about 5 minutes I'd have them all tapped I could stay and keep tapping and tapping with no end in sight. Sure there are a lot less to tap after the initial burst tapping of 5 minutes but I never run into a I can't find any more like past events providing me with a signal to come back later. And my town is the same size it has been for several of these events with stuff to tap like this. Perhaps this event is just a constant stream? Like one every 1, 5, or 10 seconds.

My burglar alarm kept going off over and over, so I had a chat with customer support... The only way to tell you've gotten all the criminals is if the burglar alarm doesn't go off for more than 60 seconds.

I've started turning my sound down...

Interesting though it keeps going off constantly in my town just like it appears the stream of criminals never ends. Perhaps we should test and spend like an hour or more in game doing nothing but tapping them to get an idea. All I know is this is quite different than before with spawn rates or something.

Go into the edit menu and turn off the houses and decorations, then you can scroll around you town and see all the criminals hiding behind buildings.

Of course, that only gives you about 4 minutes of no burglar alarm...
