I did read about endless Bob a couple of days back (with the advice to search the forum) but when I did, I didn't understand the instructions (tap clone, go to neighbour & come back was what I seemed to glean and that did nothing for me), so I just carried on tapping :(
If it's finished, can anyone explain what it was all about?

Basically there was a glitch. When you tapped the mutant sideshow bobs roaming around and then went to the friends screen and came back, you were rewarded with the items they "dropped" however the bob's didn't go away. Essentially you were collecting crafting items while never ever getting rid of the bobs -- so it was endless.
