Game running very slow
There have been other reports of lag and frame rate issues with this update.

- like those above, tapping out the campfire slows everything down to like 1fps
- quickly smoothly scrolling from one area to another is impossible now
- related, just dropping 10 of the Formless things in someone's town can take nearly a minute due to all the slow scrolling.
- noticing a Formless thing in my town can be frustrating because they'll be some lag and I try to scroll or something and there's lag or I'll mistakenly bring up a building dialog box, etc. while watching the Formless scurry away.
- the IRS radius is nice, but if a bunch of cash/currency is flying around the screen I know I now have to take a break of several seconds and wait for everything to be collected
- the Job Manager was very useful and helped me ignore some lag (from assigning tasks). Taking it away from us during this event (and all events?!) is like giving us a flip phone after we've been using the new iPhone for a few weeks.
The snappiness is gone. I keep playing because I can't resist (for now), but I now associate the game with lag.
(totally unrelated: I still do the rail yard, usually getting the 70000 in a little under three days. This week nearly every Hand In during the last 25,000 or so has involved Plastics. It's driving me bonkers.)
I have to agree with most of what you said. Especially the last few points. I was actually just thinking that my game was lagging somewhat before, but the job manager enabled me to ignore or and work around it. Now that I have to assign all of the characters individually it really slows me down. Since I was also noticing the game stopping after using the IRS function, I thought that clearing my town would actually help some. But that has not seemed to help with the scrolling at all. I hope there is some kind of update that can be released, because it is also preventing me from keeping on track.
