Getting the Redwood to work

Same here. Sent Homer and Blue Haired Lawyer twice to get 40 fertilizers (don't have Jesse). Opened the game to complete part 2, my fertilizers disappeared. Now redwood menu is blank, says 0/40 fertilizers and no more tasks. No upgrade hammer. Going to KL or friends menu didn't help.

I've contacted EA, they've said the tree was limited time iten (???) and will not upgrade anymore. :roll:

My only option for now is spend 60 donuts to skip part 2. Poor redwood, will never grow up. :lol:

@kakohmer: What EA told you is at best crazy, cuz we just got the tree, and unless one paid a hefty amount of donuts to rush the upgrade, most of us are still in the process of upgrading it.

Wait until later in the day, maybe someone else has had more luck with this issue, sounds like it needs a patch.

@Ickabod - yeah, I've said that to tech guy. So he said to wait and contact again later if is needed. I'm not worried, since is not limited time. Waiting for a fix. Thanx for your advice. :)

Had the same issue, contacted EA and the only fix was to roll back the game to before the event started. Only time will tell if it gets stuck again.

Only odd thing I had was yesterday gill popped up and mentioned a sale but nothing more, may be connected.

Having the same issue, however pretty sure I know the cause of mine.

I think the problem may lie with the way that sending quests have changed. Previously, for example, if you had 5 of 6 done, you could still send everyone possible to do the task (and so potemtially get a jump-start on the next set).
For this Redwood quest, once you reach 5/6, you can only send 1 person, not everyone that could do the task before.

I stored some buildings to get characters off the task so I could use them elsewhere. I'm now that many short of finishing this part. I'm guessing the game thinks I've done all 6 parts (even though they may have only STARTED the task, not FINISHED it) so I don't need to send any more people there.

I suggest that people let these Redwood tasks finish in full, until EA fix the issue.
(Really hope they don't try to roll back my game - can't be bothered re-doing Monieail again this week!!)

I tried storing the blue haired lawyer. It didn't change anything for me. I have also attempted what others have said as well. I will try and contact EA. I'll let y'all know how that goes. :roll:

I'd contact them again - what you were told was Bologna.... they should be able to help. Persistence is super necessary with them

@Linkwick: Thanks for the info, I'm going to watch the count carefully as I don't want mine getting stuck. Good Luck to all with this problem, keep after EA, and keep us posted.
