Giving, Receiving, & Exchanging Items/Gifts!

I've always thought it would be good to have a little 'items for sale' section for people to buy cast-offs if they want them, but tbh a) I really don't think people would sell much decent stuff and b) if people can set their price, it's open to abuse.
Leaving handshakes (when it works...) is all well and good but I would prefer to be able to give/receive something more interesting. What, I'm not sure, I just know I'm a bit sick of going through everyone for no real reason at the moment, there's no incentive other than a random donut here and there. In fact, apologies to any neighbours, but I haven't done it for over a week! Now if we were to get, say, 5 donuts every time we go through them all, I might be more inclined to do so.
