Hel! Squidport error

I have only bought land beside the water. Should I buy the water too?

Yes, you need to buy the water next to the land you bought. Squidport goes on the water.

I mean the Squidport Pt. 1 not whan you buy the entrance. The first one!

You have to buy both land and a plot of water. It's in the walkthrough in general discussion. It tells you each step.

Homer and Lisa have a discussion about rebuilding Squidport and then you have to buy some land next to the sea and an area of the sea and then it should let you place the Squidport entrance.

I hadn't done all tasks associated with it.

Do you guys know if the squidport-quests expires or what?

Pretty much everyone thinks it's here to stay but they are no gaurentees the current buildings and decorations for it will be available in the future...they could always take some away and add new ones.
