I've gone into towns where I could only find 3 snakes to whack. I've gone into others where I've whacked 10 snakes and they all added to my total.

But....explain why the license states you are only allowed to whack 5 snakes per town?

So going off your theory, if we notice a drop in our snake number in a town then that is the town (perhaps even the person who sent Lisa to our town????) where our missing snakes are and we should stick around to find them?

I'm going to test this.

I've also discovered that if I do not click on any buildings but just whack snakes? I don't lose any.

This is also my experience. But want to add 1 thing...

don't just pay attention when entering / leaving. Pay attention the whole time. I had my snake count drop WHILE I was in the town. Whacked snake number 4 and after collecting, instead of incrementing up by 1, my count went down by 7.

There were 8 (7 it went down +1 that I didn't get credit for) more snakes in that town for me to whack though (for a total of 13 whacked in that town, during 1 visit)

you can only whack 5 snakes in a town, unless you lose snakes while there.

I think that some of your snakes get released while you're there, and you don't get dinged for collecting them back. I've noticed that my total number of snakes whacked has not gone above Total Lost + 5.

To add - that did happen once, but it was before I noticed that you could lose them while you were there, not just upon entry. So I'm assuming I lost some on entry and others during whacking.

I'm going to have to test the "don't collect from buildings theory". It's what I've been using to mark which towns I've visited today (as there is no snakes whacked counter).

So how are you expected to get to the point where you get your expert whacking licence enabling you to whack your own snakes in someone elses town? I have less snakes now than when I first woke up this morning and wacked my first lot of snakes!

The highest I've gone is 17 towns visited without snake loss, but I've also lost in 4 straight visits.

That's funny!!!!! been on for two hours and have not left the app or been to friends area. just stayed in my own town
and not used lisa in any way. during that i lost 10 snakes. So there is something not right.

The license puts 5 or 10 snakes into the town, depending on the license. When you release snakes, think of it like license + x = snakes in that town, where x is the amount of snakes you release.

I think you are on to something here.

So what does it mean when I went into a town and lost 30 snakes the second I went in? I was able to get them all back but it took forever. Does it mean that this person has sent Lisa to my town to release snakes that many times? *frowns*

Still trying to get the license, but yesterday I visited someones town and lost snakes. I never even clicked any snakes or bldgs. Seems that this will be a task for us to get the required items for our own towns and whack our own snakes...so far. I agree with Tatsumi81, with this whole Whacking event being broken. That's not to include all the other issues that are in the mist. I have collected eggs and I want to give some to my neighbors, but I fear losing snakes because I haven't even received the license to whack yet. I was planning on just releasing in the "Other Springfield" and take that loss when that task comes up so that they wouldn't lose any snakes.
