Well you can't get more inexpensive than that     - I played on a Galaxy Tab 7 2.0 and it was getting pretty hard to play
Now I'm playing on a phone - Moto G. Phone was dirt cheap because it was "refurbished" - bought at telco's website. Game runs incredibly smooth compared to my old tablet. - wadebearRetired Hero

I used to play games on my old iPod Touch but I started getting headaches. Then my vision started going and it just became impossible. That's why I moved up to tablets. - vibra5New RookieNo mediacom smartpad i10

Lol, nah dude. Gotta go with the pro. I mainly got it for drawing since I'm an artist. But playing Tapped Out on it is quite amazing.- Amazon Fire for $50 should be good enough. In case you're not in the US, make sure the app has no geographic restrictions for your country (as it has for mine...)
- If you wanted something cheap, it doesn't get cheaper than free. Check your local banks, and see if they have any promotions that give you a few Samsung Galaxy Tab 7" tablet for new accounts. I've seen this promotion from various banks over the years.

The Kindle is probably one of the cheapest out there. I picked up the best version at the time for about 175 American dollars. It is massively limited in what other games you can play, but if you read a lot - it's a great deal (especially if you find free books on line instead of using the amazon store).- Another vote for the kindle fire for $50. I liked it so much I bought two more for the family.
Far more responsive than my ipad2.
