Was it the Fonz that jumped the shark? I can't remember, it was just a bit before my time.
Sorry, roman, you feel this way. I agree this event was a major fail. And I remember many people saying Valentine's was awfully poor as well. Even some that defended it said that EA was entitled to a off event every once in a while. Called it a swing and a miss. But I think between Valentine's, the Friendship Points, and then this horrible Easter Event, EA is on a downward trajectory with TSTO. I really hope they turn it around. There have been some excellent suggestions on this board, I hope they listen. Give us a good storyline, some new decorations that aren't holiday limited, and go back to the grind and away from the chance.bradyc79 wrote:

Good post, when was the last time we were rewarded for our millions of $, I'm tired of everything costing donuts or friend visits, I want to be rewarded for just playing the game every day without having to pay anything.- mwdaltonNew Spectator

Some more aspirationals to spend cash on would be good, like the unreleased World's Biggest Toilet, or the Revolving Restaurant. Or some land! :D - Here's the thing, I had no problems spending money on this game but I wanted everything but Maintaining having everything is getting more and more expensive and I reached my limit of what I'd spend on this game on a monthly basis.
IMHO EA just got to greedy. - I have to wonder, that if they did just repeat the same formula, how many people would complain that they had no creativity. At least they are trying to come up with new things.
Having said that, I do think it might have been better if there was some common goal. Maybe keep one or two of the boxes people could play on the side for fun, like the wheel (and yes, I do know some people hated that), but have some bigger prize that would take some kind of common effort, just to keep the interest up. - The events are just becoming more and more donut based and the in game $ is meaningless now, I have $50 million and nothing to spend it on. There is a threshold when thus game becomes to expensive to justify spending my real world $, I almost passed it with the whale but now I have, no more $ from me ever again.
