Major glitch

Hi, yes I personally got hit by the same bug/issue myself yesterday, it's a long standing problem that seems to be getting worse/happening more often recently there is also a thread about it in the bugs section of the forum here https://forums.ea.com/en/the-simpsons-tapped-out/discussion/125663/character-button-springfield-heights-and-railyard-not-working unfortunately your only option to get this fixed quickly is to contact EA support and ask for a roll back or if time isn't an issue you could try getting support to contact a game specialist to try and fix the problem but this method takes longer.

If that's the case then you'll need to get back in touch with EA support and politely try your best to get them to escalate the case to the game specialist for an individual fix as that is the only option unfortunately.

I was on to them last week about an issue with a quest. They rolled me back, and replaced all the donuts that I had spent on the building so I could buy it again, and added about 20. Seems to really matter who you get. I used the callback option, usually have better luck on chat but it wasn't available. I would definitely try them again on the 350 donuts, that's not a small amount, or ask them to put the 5 buildings into your inventory, they can.

I very much doubt that anyone can really move down the queue. This strikes me as merely another ploy on the part of some EA staffers to get users to stop calling them. It’s on par with their habit of getting rid of complainants by sending them to the forum. Unprofessional.

I had a further roll back which corrected the problem. However I lost the five mystery box items I'd won and didn't even get the 350 donuts back! Apparently there's nothing they can do about it! Anyone else managed to get donuts refunded after a problem like this? Seems ridiculous that the donut total doesn't roll back along with everything else...

They can, and should, give you the donuts back or the items you purchased. Maybe not the front line csr's, but someone there can, and as I said they definitely owe you. Be persistent and polite, no matter how much you feel like choking the personon the phone B)
