You'll be DOOMED! Nah, it only seems to affect the visual appearance, so it really just depends on how you want the bases to look. The 20% bonus is all that matters when it comes to maximizing event currency payout.- In the end it doesn't matter what they look like in storage. These hideous monstrosities gotta go.
- wadebearRetired HeroI couldn't get mine completely Fortified In any of my 3 towns, so I Assaulted them all over and over... And even though they were pretty much evenly Fortified it took different amounts of time to Assault them down to the base. I'd Assault and nothing would change.
I had them all almost Fortified all the way up and then I had to Assault one of them to complete a Daily Challenge. Now it's messed up and won't Fortify back to completion. I think maybe it's to do with Assaulting and Fortifying at the same time. I have to Assault again for another Challenge, so I think I'll JUST Assault both of them and then Fortify afterwards to see if that fixes it. - Mine are both now fully fortified. I too had to assault them right back down to the beginning to get them to fully fortify. I think I'm going to leave them fortified now ready for act 2 just in case there is any importance to it. However... I really don't think there is :/
If I have a task to assault now I will just swap it out. B) - It's simple algebra... x+y=z first you must solve for y. As in y do you care? X is the amount of current junk you have in storage crafted from past events which leads us to solving for z. No matter how you work this equation, z always equals putting these playscapes in storage no matter what condition they end up in.

@chrisdirai146, pfft, I agree. Was trying to get the horsey thingies to upgrade because I think they’re cute. This is the first time i’m likely to scrap major event content & unlike other items I’ll be happy for this stuff to disappear into the depths of my storage.
I had to attack my bases for 2 days before they went into the fully degraded look. Then fortified over a few days & it worked. - wadebearRetired HeroI think the problem is that it's getting counted as being Fortified, it's just not showing it. So you have to Assault the invisible Fortified levels away, which is why it doesn't appear to change. It seems to take forever to Assault it down to zero, but then it only takes a couple of days to Fortify it to completion.
- I destroyed mine to the point where only a few broken fences were left in the background. I thought this was the most destructed state and began to rebuild again. Everything worked fine except for the broken fences in the back, they just won't get repaired on both bases. So I teared them down again and made sure that all fences and decorations were gone. And now (after fortifying a couple of times) it's finally complete. Seems to me like we can't "repair" the broken stuff, only build up new things after destroying them completely.
