Most Annoying Prank... EVER.

So, my husband and I started playing this game in August, (early enough to get duff racer) and ever since have kind of kept up a competition-type gameplay of it with each other. Complete if tasks faster, getting new buildings first, more money, leveling up, you get the point.

This morning, I wake to find my level 30 town has ZERO buildings in it. No major landmarks or statues, just scenery, road, pavement and water. OF COURSE I panic. I honestly am just frozen for a few seconds trying to figure out what horrible glitch this is. Then I start investigating. In my storage is every building I've ever built, every statue, EVERYTHING. It took me SO LONG to put the puzzle back together, and I am not even sure it's back correctly. Ha. HA.

The kicker? He isn't home and wasn't when I found out. So now I've just gotta stew over it. AND he's such a baby that I ant even get revenge bc hell most likely just say he's finding a new game to play instead of rebuilding.( his TSTO addiction has died down a little, where mine has not  )

Worst Prank Ever!!!!!!!!!

Lolz he sure got uxP Time to get revenge! I bet you had fun placing everything back, didn't ya?!
  • if he starts a new game thats when you do the prank back ;)

For the moment say it was a glitch and dont let him know how worried you were ;)
  • Not a funny prank. Only one solution for this.

  • Definitely a lame prank. But what I like to say is "Don't dish it if you can't take it". He deserves to get it back whether he likes it or not.

You can't store the Simpson house, you know.

Well I suppose he got away with one. I hardly noticed because of shock lol.

I agree that it was lame and now I am just having fun making him worry about what I will get him back with on any random moment. Simpson related, or NOT. Hehe
  • Well, on the one hand, I think him being constantly afraid of your reprisal might be worse than whatever you could actually do to him, so you might want to just stretch it out and remind him every so often.

On their other hand, such a prank does demand a response. How about you just register a brand new town with almost exactly the same email as the one he uses, maybe just change a .com to .co.uk or something that is easily missed and set the same password as he has for his game.

Then leave the game on his ipad/phone where you have the email already filled in and it asks you for the password. After he types that in, he will get a bit of a shock when a level 1 Springfield loads instead of his town, but there's no real harm done to his town once he figures out what happened. :p That's the kind of prank I like to pull - screws with your mind, but doesn't mess with your stuff.

Oh, and if you do do that prank, maybe best to play it safe and load up his town on your device until he figures it out. That way, if he somehow manages to set the level 1 town as his actual town, you have a back up to revert back to his old town. Just say 'play now' when it asks you if you want to proceed because your other device did not save your progress. I cannot see how he could set the level one town as his new default because it is under a different email after all, but better to play it safe with something as 'major' as risking a level 30 game. ;)

Saw your post and it reminded me of this pic I saw on reddit awhile back.

It's related. A lady posted what her boyfriend did to her town while she slept.

Ha I hadn't seen that before  wonder if she replied "yes" to his town the same way

This is neat... I wonder if she was excited or sad... And whether she said yes or no
  • that is incredibly tacky, proposing marriage in tsto hedges.

not even a proper game, a free android app....

good enough reason to terminate a relationship right there.
