No Summer Event?

Technically Krustyland didn't launch until like the end of July early August - so there could still be an annual expansion.

While the Squidport update occupied June, Krustyland was later on, so still possible 2.0 could launch. Considering the lack of updates for it, I'd say there's a solid chance of a newer expansion of content.

I'm still hopping for the Chili Cook off next month (but I'd settle for KL/Squidport expansion) Although there's no official event scheduled till Halloween.

Yes we do need more land for Krustyland

Mount Splashmore would be cool for KL. Burns Casino would be a nice addition to the Squidport.

I imagine there'll be stuff coming, maybe something sideshow bob or the monorail.

im hoping we get something soon though, getting bored of downtime.

After the Easter horror and the previous wheels of doom, I need recovering, Stonecutters was nice and if we get more events like that I might heal, but I'm afraid there is a long way to go....

Yes, the month long Stonecutter event that provided a few new characters, a dozen alternate costumes for existing characters, a bunch of buildings and decorations, etc was indeed the summer event.

I'm surprised you had to ask that, honestly. Seems pretty obvious.
