I'm in the same boat, daily player since 2012, paid money for donuts & now can't play it due to the verification issue being sent to a dead email address!
Tried the live help 3 times with no joy, trying to add an alternative as suggested by Graham doesn't work as it sends verification to the dead email address too!
Pretty gutted & angry to have it end this way but no way of recovering my game or email address
