PREMIUM TO FREEMIUM

Just wondering who else has stop playing premium and gone full blown freemium like myself due to this update. Players are also leaving the game entirely in droves because they are fed up.

I used to really enjoy tsto and it's the only game I've continually played since buying my ipad 2yrs ago, however it is looking like being deleted soon as I've really hated the last few events (xmas, valentines and Easter).
This is almost entirely down to the 'wheel of luck' used now, we're no longer rewarded for hours visiting neighbors (as I did at xmas but failed to get Claus co), instead you keep getting items you don't want.
We used to be able to put in some hard work for the 'prize' but are no longer getting it despite still putting in the hours!
I've already given up on Easter and have noticed more than half of my 100 friends aren't doing it, if the next event follows this trend I will no longer play it myself.
Shame, it used to be good.
EA mustn't read this forum or they'd know how much people hate this event. Everyone should open a ticket with them to complain about it. Maybe then they'd pay attention!

lol at EA paying attention to support tickets.
You can tell them you've spent hundreds on their silly mobile game and they'll still ignore your support tickets for weeks. You can give them 1 star reviews on the app stores and they don't care. It is such a worthless, miserable company.
Even tinyco is making them look bad.

maybe a few losers quit all together...but obviously their revenue increases in the times of events otherwise they wouldnt do them

But from what I've seen, a lot of people are unwilling to spend donuts on the chance of winning a random useless prize, whereas in previous events where you worked towards certain prizes, a lot of people would pay donuts to speed up getting the ones they want, or the ones further along in the prize list.
The thing that's annoying people is spending money for the chance to still end up with nothing, therefore less are doing so this time.

lol exactly
EA know what they're doing...if these updates and wheels and boxes weren't successful they would stop doing them...they're a giant corporation with a big marketing team

I'm starting to wonder ... Are the "losers" the ones who know when they're being screwed and refuse to accept that, or are the "losers" those of us who obviously don't seem to mind and stay around for more?
(For the record, I'm staying, but that's not a healthy response to abuse. EA is lucky there are enough people like me.)
Talk about your The Simpsons: Tapped Out experience with other TSTO players.
