PSA: The Vicious Monkeys are not NPCs

Go through your main inventory (not the subsections). Make sure you check it in its entirety - sometimes items are not in alphabetical order or they are at the end of the inventory.

Yeah I've checked through a couple of times and they're definitely not there (I did check in each subsection too even!) My character collection shows the monkeys as unlocked too :(

Edit - Reddit told me you have to have Coconut Babaloo in your Springfield for this task to work. How bizarre to tie a new character's actions to a 2 year old quest item! I had Coconut in storage and as soon as I placed it, the task freed up and the monkeys were there.

I'd opt for a call back (if it's available where you are) - I find that usually people get the best result using that method. Or try Live Chat if the call back option is not available. With the E-Mail option, response times often vary, and it sometimes takes a while for them to get back to you. Good Luck :)
