Juliet, I completely can comment. In fact, when I first visited this forum, loads of people were complaining about the mythical Whacking Day, even though we were nowhere near the date. Funny how things change, isn't it. Maybe next year people will be pining after the mythical EASTER WHINING BOX event.
Systems will change, events will change and I highly doubt EA would put out something that didn't appeal to the majority of their customer base. If you don't like it, and want to go back to some senseless grind then you should probably consider another game. Or wait to see what happens with the next event as I imagine EA will try something new to keep things fresh.
