I feel what you're feeling OP.
I have no more patience!!!! This is BS.
Spending donuts on trying to get the last 2 characters from the gold box has been a complete waste. I can't believe I let 250 of those big Ds slip from my hand for more fences and egg piles. Yes I'm impatient, but I would be crying more if I played this event freemium because I would have less of the prizes that I've managed to win.
I'm not leaving the game. Simply, I'm taking a break from my intense playing. Don't care if I don't get everything anymore.
This is sad considering this game has been a part of me for 2 years.
Only Maggie can resurrect my faith in this once-beautiful game.
So you claim that you would have less if you playes this event freemium? That is not amways true. I have not spend a single donut this event and i just need two more prizes.- bluyoshi88810Seasoned NewcomerI hate to say this but I agree. This is a horrible update that takes advantage of premium players and (once again) gives freemium players the short end of the stick. I just hope EA changes the odds somewhere before the end and puts an end to this disaster.
- I have lost quite a few players off my friends list as regular players, but almost all of them stopped playing before the Easter event even started. This makes sense though, as I imagine a pretty small percentage of players who originally download the game ever make it to the top levels most of us on the forums have reached. I started playing March of last year and must not have stayed too long, because I got the * Patricks day stuff but wasn't playing anymore by the Whacking Day update. Then I gave the game another shot around Christmas this year, enjoyed the Christmas event immensely (yes, in large part due to the wheel) and have been playing since.
I would guess that the number of players who have quit playing recently is pretty high and is always pretty high, but the number of players who have quit directly because of the Easter event (you didn't give me enough free stuff!) is much lower than you might want to believe. dave3490 wrote:

It is just a game. In 10 years you nevermind. I play freemium and even if I dont get anything on an event like this I have a good life. Just have fun while opening a box. If the price is bad ignore it and have fun with the stuff you already have! :-) :-) :-)
What you fail to understand about this game my friend is that the odds are so poor and random, combined with the lack of baskets, combined with the faulty baskets, combined with how long it takes to collect eggs, at the end of all that BS, we are not guaranteed a decent prize. Its like putting the hard work in and getting a crap prize to show for it. Its taken all the loyalty that people have for this game and thrown it back in their faces, resulting in the OP feeling the way they do. I know you must live in 'lah-te-dah' land along with a few others when it comes to this event, but the REAL players, hard timers from day one who have see n all the events, know how BAD this one is. I respect your opinion, and I understand, but unless thus is your first, maybe second event, you sadly have not idea how bad the Easter 2014 event really is
You mention 10yrs - if EA keep up this crap this game won't be around in 10 months
I am a day 1 Player pal.^^ The last events were much better, but it is the right of EA to try sth. new. If a big amount of players have a big lack of items I am willing to agree, but there is so much time left...kingmob31838 wrote:
Oh, man, I wonder if you whiners will ever realise how pathetic you come across?
The event isn't over for a long while yet. Crying because you haven't got all the prizes yet is downright weird. Would you be complaining about how boring the event was if you DID have all the prizes?
And for the guy who spent donuts, admitting he was impatient and then moans because he didn't automatically get the prizes?? Where does it say, 'spend donuts = prizes'. If you want a guarantee, go spend donuts on one of the non-event characters/decorations.
I'm so tried of people defending this lame event.
If you're a freemium player you should be pissed that you can't grind your way for a chance to win all the prizes
If you're a premium player you should be even more pissed spending real money on $onuts for only a chance to get all the prizes.- 1) No baskets in days
2) Finally 500 eggs for goldbox = stupid fences or 250 blue eggs...
3) After spending 100 donuts i have 2400 gold eggs = stupid fences and eggs nothing more
Takes forever to get a chance to have gold boxes and what you get things i dont give a * for
16 days left or so, EA is gonna expend the time for getting more money out of die hard players and the last day they gonna give the charachters
No fan of this event, i hate wheel of luck things
I'm not checking that often anymore i'm pissed so dont give a * anymore OnePoundBeef wrote:
It's like spending hours a day revising every day and at the end of the month, the exam board put all the grades In a wheel with a/A* having the smallest chance and a U the largest chance to get. Then people saying oh yes, I like this system it's fair as appose to the amount of work you do = the the grade you get instead of it being random.
 exactly!- My neighbours are leaving by droves also. I'm having to add at least 5 new ones a day. Haven't got a basket for 3 days now so no way of earning extra eggs. My one hope is they don't extend the event!!
- You're not the only one having problems, just keep trying! :-D

Hey, keep complaining! This event really does suck. I believe they do to some degree respond to the forum whiners. I also believe that this is in part a punishment for all the whiners about going thru another Whacking Day event. Let me say thanks a lot to them. I started playing in Sept. last year, enjoyed Halloween, enjoyed Christmas, and was looking forward to Whacking Day. Whiners asked for change and got it.
If they make the game worse because people complain then they are just shooting themselves in the foot and pushing players away. There are plenty of other games to play once this one gets bad enough
