Yeh dammit, but at least I only planted my first crop about two weeks so I guess if I cancel now I havent wasted too much time. Is it right you cancel by putting Cletus's farm in inventory?

I stopped it but was not happy about it. When I saw it pop up I was hoping that they would cash us out like last time. Oh well. I REALLY hate the crop tasks, mainly because I dislike seeing it as pending for 80+ of the 90 days.
