- I say concentrate on Springfield at the mo, because when it comes to Krustyland you'll need certain characters to be there making ticket money or doing tasks to build it up, so if I were you I'd catch up on your current SF tasks so they don't clash when your KL tasks begin. :D
Also Squidport can become quite expensive with the increasing tile costs, so if you're strapped for cash it's worth taking your time on that.

Yeah, but considering the time it will take to make new SP tiles i would recommend that you keep building those. Later on it takes 3 and a half days to build one single tile. You can leave KL for a later time.
If the game gets a little boring after youve build everything there is and you have loads of cash, youll have KL left to keep you busy.
Great call out. Also if you have already started KL (or want to get started anyway) keep sending charecters on tasks there until you've unlocked Sideshow You, and then send them all back to SF. Then collect from KL 2-3 time daily and you'll get a jump start on the donuts at 300 balloons. Besides the early KL buildings are really cheap and payout good xp for their cost.
Edits for spelling- Personally, I'd finish all the squidport buildings first and buy enough tiles to get enough space for them. Then I'd focus on springfield and krustyland at the same time and if I have some spare money I'd invest it in a tile (they will become sooo long to build so squidport will be in fact paused). Send the krustyland chars on their main questline and everyone else on springfield. If you have to build an expensive krustyland building move everyone to KL until you get enough tickets.
- I built Springfield and Krustyland at the same time as they are different currency's but I waited to build squidport until I had built everything else. :-D

So I just hit Level 40 this AM (and doubtless EA will release Level 42 this weekend :D ), but I could use some advice from the more experienced players. I'm having trouble keeping up with the quests. I have Squidport and KL, but I don't have enough money yet to advance them and still keep up with my SF. In fact, I only have 185,000 $ at the moment, so it'll take me a few days of beavering to get enough money for Ah, Fudge.
Should I just forget about Squidport and KL and concentrate on the main quests, or try to go in three directions at once and just resign myself to going more slowly? I'd rather not housefarm, and besides, I'd need to buy more land to do it. Which would slow me down with building.
What do you all find is the best strategy, or is there one? Just curious, and thanks!
there is no end game that I'm aware of, there's no prize for being first, play it as you see fit, do what makes you happy. - Try to concentrate on a single quest line at a time, and ignore your rapidly filling task book! It takes patience and willpower, but the game will last longer until it plateaus with nothing to do that way, and you will also have more time to save up the cash for the next building.
SP can be done in parallel with SF, if you buy just a second sea expansion for now you will have enough room to squeeze everything in, you can come back and re-organize it later when you can afford more sea tiles. And as someone said, keep stocking up the SP tiles even if you don't have room for them.
KL can be a slow backburner, but it can be played independently. There will be some times when a character is needed in KL and SF but usually in KL it's for a single 'ride-the-ride-you-just-built' quest so it's very manageable. KillaSqirl wrote:
Take your time and focus on SP, there's no rush. I know it may seem like a lot now, but in a couple months you'll get really bored between update like most long time top level players.
I'm sure you're right. My biggest fear now, though, is that they'll introduce new levels faster than I can level up. :lol:lynnmckenz82 wrote:

Sometimes there's months between new levels.- Thanks to everyone for all the great advice! I'd answer each one of you, except EA makes me wait too long between messages. I know, spam and all...
I like the advice on just getting KL tickets from Sideshow You. I do have that so I think I'll just go slow there. I sort of want to put at least one more building on my SP because it's a money generator. But in general, I think I'll stick with SF until I get through the main quests. You're right, there's absolutely no rush, but I sometimes get impatient waiting around to earn enough to get the next building.
Now someday I hope to earn enough donuts for a premium building/character. Could get Otto now but I wonder if another character might be worth waiting 20 or 30 more donuts for. lynnmckenz82 wrote:

One piece of advice ... I'd hold off buying new buildings or tiles until you save up $1,000,000 ... This is probably overdoing it, but in one of my towns I was unable to buy the Duff racer a few months back because it cost $250,000 and was only available for a couple of days. Ingame cash takes time to save up. I'd just put out $20,000 to start building a stupid tile, and a few thousand to buy a plot of land. My available remaining balance was right around $230,000, and i wasn't at a stage where I could make THAT much money in just a few days.
As I said, a million is probably overdoing it, but after that I brought everything to a standstill until I saved up a million bucks. Frankly, that was an outrageous money-grab from EA. That's just my opinion, but getting one's hands on a quarter million ingame dollars in two or three days is virtually impossible. They set outrageous prices to buy ingame cash with donuts and knew that the Duff Racer was one of the MOST desired items in the game. No prior alert that it was coming up. That was the first time I saw something that was offered on such a short time which was priced so far out of reach for so many players.
I will do just fine without it, of course. But that doesn't make me any less disgusted. Not surprised. Businesses often do disgusting things. And we're taught to admire their cleverness. Ptui.
