I was just about to post the same link! You didn't say what your current level is, but as you work through the levels you get a few decos for free that have a multiplier, as an example the golden calf idol. Look out for items during events - in act 2 of the Wild West event you could buy cow tongues for $45,000 which gives a 2% multiplier. Do you have the space rocket? Make sure to launch it twice a day, as there are topiaries and the nuclear warhead that you could get that also give bonus %. Mystery boxes also contain items that give a boost to your multiplier too.

The cheapest way to turn donuts into multiplier is to buy mystery boxes.Jet engine bike is .066% per donut, but an average mystery box is almost twice as good at .11% per donut.

Also think I've been screwing my self, judging by that link I have had things in my inventory, such as the wailing wall and the melted snowmen characters that are worth % bonus. I do have the space rocket, not that it brings me back worth anything, I have more hail ants sign than I can count! Haha! Finally deciding to try and increase my multiplier has opened up a whole new world to me! Thanks for the replies guys.

I have all of my SH buildings upgraded to the highest level. When I take them out of inventory, it doesn't increase my Xp level. People talk about these as 'hidden'. How does that work? Does it mean my level is higher than showing? Do they HAVE to be out of inventory(groans)?

Yes you do have to have them out in your town :( SH buildings are not included in your multiplier when you tap on your star rating. Click on the link in my sig, at the bottom of the SH tables you can find the 'hidden' multipliers.

Sorry, another question... Do items placed in KL count? Or do they have to be in Springfield?

I lived with ugly town forever. What am I to do without my ugly house farm and my ugly SH buildings... Ugly lineup of news van & scratchy board... At least good xp and money - which turns to donuts...

This question came up when we were doing the RTTF. If I remember correctly, they only count in the area in which they are placed. Take Itchy & Scratchy boards for example. As we were in a race and wanted to get to the end as fast as possible, I used to take any boards I had to KL first thing on a morning so that they would help towards getting extra tickets, then return to SF and replace them.

Ugh..can nothing be simple? I have a bunch of jet motorbikes in KL cuz I made a race track...guess there will be an empty track there now :(

Is this what people are including in their 500% bonus? I've been at level 60 for a while collecting items, and I'm only around 70%.

I put SH buildings out yesterday to help with the XP bonus and am putting them away today. Mine town is still a work in progress but I can't deal with the ugly SH buildings.

Last year they released Tennis Courts as a premium decoration for donuts. When SH came out, the same ones became available for Hollywood Awards. Lots of people dropped everything and started making Tennis Courts for the 2.25% bonus each.

Then during Halloween, they made the Wailing Wall a craftable item. Again with 2.25% bonus each, people started putting their efforts into crafting these.

I can't tell you when - if ever - they will have offers like these again. That is the main reason why people have high multipliers these days. Keep an eye out for posts discussing great deals like these. In the meantime, try to buy cheap premium decorations (like the Jet Engine Bike), and try a few Mystery Boxes. For me, the Mystery Box gives me three non-premium items followed by two premium ones. You want News Vans and I&S billboards.
