To Rail Yard or Not to Rail Yard. That is the question...

Your guess is as good as mine. If it's an in-game update then we'll find out in a couple of hours. Just be sure to at least go to Krustyland and back at rollover time (2 am for me), or better yet restart the game.
If it's an app store update we can try to get as much done before the update hits the app stores at... When? 10 am? 11 am? 2 pm? (all times mentioned are Central US)
  • I don't see any reason not to do the railyard. Even on the off chance that an event suddenly hits and it needs one of my recyclers to start I'll wait it out since an extra hour or two isn't going to matter over the length of even a week long mini event.
  • There is no need to stress about the Rail Yard, you have a whole week and it's very easy to complete even during an event. Plenty of time. :)

I totally forgot about having a whole week to finish it lol. Thanks for the reminder^.^
  • Well I didn't quite make it. I managed to get the donuts in all 3 of my towns but I didn't get all my recycle stations filled back up. And with this new 'send people places from the airport' task it looks like I'll just have to do it ad hoc through the week as the various characters are available.
  • Don't forget about the offset technique. You can afford to send them, for example, to make metal for an hour while the rest of your event characters get started earning event currency for the night. As soon as the metal is done they can join for the event. Doesn't matter that they don't all start at the same time because you'll be asleep when it's time to collect.

(I don't know if I said that clearly enough.)
