I'd be curious to see the percentage breakdown of how many players have x neighbors.
I'm guessing it's a low percentage that have 70+ neighbors.
I have about 15 and don't really desire more.
I know some people who are devoted players that only want (and have) a few neighbors.
Some people don't want to spend a chunk of their day slowly moving from town to town for nearly an hour.
You should be happy you reached the phone goal so quickly.
I have 100 friends, and I visit them all every day. Doesn't take that long, usually I keep my iPad next to me doing something else, like watching tv or so. Tap-tap-tap... Takes about 30 minutes to go through all.
Still need 9000 pies to get the collector.EvaMohlin wrote:

I had high hopes, but it feels like they didn't balance the drop rates appropriately.
You are optimistic. The balance is optimum from EA's point if view.... we get frustrated with the miserly drop rate and use donuts. EA smiles all the way to the bank.- At least it's being dropped by doing something you were going to do anyway, rather than being dropped by doing something you had to do. You could always choose not to tap buildings in neighboring towns, but you are also hindering your progress by giving up 300 pieces of currency per day.
They are at least going towards two of the easier items to craft: the phone booths and the Zenith City Apartments. You are going to want multiples of each so it's better than nothing. Plus if you don't like the look you can always just stash them in your inventory. Zozobras wrote:

I'm normally fairly pessimistic. I made a conscious decision to be optimistic about the crafting. Since EA did so much right with this event, I hoped they'd do the same with the crafting. I was wrong. Oh well - it's still doable, and I'd rather too many phones than not enough.roshigoth1 wrote:

But even so, at least the disproportionate drop rates are in favor of minor decorations rather than useless stuff like additional bags that contain more useless crafting items....efin98 wrote:

Well, I agree on the bags with crafting items part, but 500 phones will not craft anything without something else, and both lockpicks and handcuffs will be in very limited supply.roshigoth1 wrote:

I guess I am looking at them from rose colored glasses...you are right, and justified, but I still see it as better than what we had before and a lot better than boxes and wheels. If this is the worst complaint about the event it's on the right track. 8)efin98 wrote:

Agreed. It's an improvement. I just think it could stand more improvement if they decide to use the crafting mechanic in future events.roshigoth1 wrote:
they have used it in past events, they used it here, they most likely will use it in the future if we know EA, remember the wheel? every event was a wheel now they change it because there was a TSUNAMI of COMPLAINTS, although unlike most i notice the crafting system is a wheel in very clever disciuse, on Halloween we got candy corn, gummy bears, pumpkins , wrecked fences. they were givenout at chance and then items were crafted from them if you diddent hit right odds you say wouldn't have Enuff candy corn to craft, everyone liked this for some reason despite it being a wheel in disguise. its same with this event, you tap criminals and get a CHANCE at handcuffs or other crating items (my game is being a guys urin stick and not advancing me in the quest to craft)efin98 wrote:
