Ehhh, it's more of a rough estimate
I just trimmed my number down to about 12 without losing my five stars...so I am assuming this could be the bare minimum amount give or take a wall or two.
I had 17 five-ish levels ago, and when I leveled up my righteousness dropped to 3.5 stars and I had to add more, so I don't think 12 would be enough.
The problem with righteousness is that it's in flux. Random things like Bob and graffiti can raise it, so if you're storing training walls under the assumption that all five stars come from those, you might end up with too few walls. Starting with a low rating and adding training walls is the only way to be sure.
I happen to decorate with the training walls, so I have many of them. Probably more than 30 at this point. But I had 28 when my rating went back up to 5 stars from 3.5 stars, so I figure 30 should be sufficient.FeeJay1111 wrote:
I don't care about graffiti. I've got a load of training walls so it makes no difference to me.
Recently some neighbours without all the friendship prizes let me know they wanted graffiti for the extra FPs. I started tapping graffiti in all neighbours towns as I was in a rush and wants to make sure those neighbours got what they wanted. Then I got other neighbours contacting me who were unhappy with graffiti.
Have ended up splitting them. Doing the graffiti neighbours 1st then everyone else. A bit of a faff. I've never asked for neighbours who only were high level. I'm quite happy to visit those just starting out. I think in future I'll ask for people I can graffiti as I rather enjoy it?
You can graffiti my town anytime!neuroheart wrote:

Two levels ago I had to have over 24 walls to keep at maximum so maybe it could have dropped at some point...
I counted 11 when I dropped down, but I might have about two more hidden somewhere...it could still be 17, I moved around a few of my buildings recently that had them hidden behind that the other three might have been unnoticed.
17 seems like a good number for the minimum so I'll stand corrected on the number. More the better but at least we have a solid number for this current level.efin98 wrote:

Thanks - I have 27, most are being used as decoration. The Quimby Compound roof is the same color red, so with a little landscaping the training walls make a great fence.- wadebearRetired HeroI only vandalize:
By mistake.
If I can't find anything else to tap (otherwise leave it for someone else)
If I'm in a big rush to finish my neighborhood and don't want to hunt.
It irks me when people vandalize my town, but then I've had to deal with real life vandals for the past 16 years while running a business. Spend a few hours scrubbing paint ball mess off your cars, walls, and the interior of your rental cabins (and you know what off of the OUTSIDE of toilets where some sicko has smeared it) and you'll probably have an issue with it too. neuroheart wrote:
In short:
Cleaning graffiti is the only way those buildings pay out.
Cleaning graffiti is the main way to raise righteousness until a player is of a level to build training walls.
After you can build thirty training walls so your righteousness never drops, graffiti is still the only way those buildings pay out.
Being upset by neighbor vandals isn't just silly (it's a game, after all) but actually counterproductive.
Couldn't agree more.
Im really happy if someone vandalises my town, because it gives me righteousness points!neuroheart wrote:

When I hit the 4500 (no good rotten) limit I started deleting all my hidden training walls. Every once in a while I'll drop 1/2 a star and then I just send some criminals to jail to bring it back to 5. I'm assuming I have some premium items that help.efin98 wrote:

Perhaps I wasn't clear, but I'm saying that 17 walls were not sufficient to maintain five stars. I added 11 more before I was back up at five stars. And since that time, requirements have increased at least once.
Also, too avoid any confusion, the training wall is the only non-unique item that raises righteousness. And there's no evidence that sending criminals to prison impacts the rating at all.
Righteousness often drops to zero (OR whatever baseline is granted by training walls) for no discernible reason. Often, it will correct itself if you just wait, but I prefer it to never drop.
So I use training walls as walls around two of my large houses, have somewhere between 30 and 40 of them, and it never drops.- I would prefer people vandalize me rather than collect from my buildings. When I'm actively playing, I try to keep everything else clear so people have no choice but to vandalize.
- I always vandalize whenever possible, I was under the assumption that this helped my neighbours righteousness rating...Could be wrong, I didn't read this whole thread and I don't get out of OT much
