- I voted Christmas 2013 because my game got a glitch that made the gift cards useless. I got all but the yeti, but still not receiving the spins I should have annoyed me the most.
I did find Easter difficult, but I got all but father Sean on my premium account, and all but the Mexican restaurant and Sherry Bobbins on my freemium account. I love the fences the trees and the blocko store, so Easter wasn't that bad.
My favorite event was whacking days. I was very disappointed when it didn't return. I was freemium when I played it and still want a log with a snake.
Clash of Clones is in the middle for me. I like seeing random towns even though most seem to be poorly designed and/or low level. The few gems make it worth it. I do wish the designers had made more of a effort on the items, a still that looks like the other still, a chest that looks like the other chest, and a barracks that looks like the horse shed, also hit air balloons were not developed till the 1700's. I enjoyed the game play. - I voted for CoC, simply because there's nothing for me to work towards in terms of buildings/decorations. I might find a use for the castles, but they'll likely be destined for storage, and I'm honestly not concerned if I don't earn all of the personal prizes.
Easter was terrible in terms of the prize wheels, but at least had me interested for the during of the event as it had prizes I wanted (and was lucky enough to get). - Easter was the worst by a distance as far as Earth to the edge of time and space itself
Valentines 2013 was the next worse
This one is not too bad but is far toooo long. I wish this was a 3 week event only. - bluyoshi88810Seasoned NewcomerIt's a tie between Easter and Clash of Clones for me. Easter was downright brutal for taking the chance systems from the Christmas and Valentines events and making them three times worse. The prizes were some of the best in the game but trying to get them was a joke. I wasted over 60 dollars just to get everything.
Clash of Clones, while not a terrible idea, is just overlong and boring. I don't feel like building castles and raiding towns just to get some lame decoration I'll likely put in storage. The Barbarian character also doesn't interest me that much. - 4junk3000New SpectatorGood poll. The numbers above speak for themselves.
Some people have remarkably high expectations for this event, which i thought was just a filler between summer and fall events. I totally didn't expect to have anything to occupy ourselves with before Halloween. The forum rumor mill was bumbling over monorail foolishness.
This is far more entertaining. You can blow up your neighbors castles. That's kind of funny. Everyone earns prizes even if you miss a day. It's OK. There's plenty of incentive to visit neighbors: Two new friend prizes just came out.
And this event has been easy to achieve goals without stressing out, which i appreciate. I want the game to be a fun diversion, not a frustrating addiction to battle.
Easter got a full commitment of my time and it still wasn't enough to achieve all prizes. There was nothing i could do to get bobbins or sean. The mechanics of the game were like a casino. Aka impossible. Lame.
The mechanics of this coc parody are surprisingly forgiving. So If you don't like coc, fine don't play it. But this is the Simpsons parody of coc and is no different than any parody they do because that's what they do all the time in the show. Was coc worth writing a TV episode to spoof? No. But their game could do it. And so it's done.
The people complaining about this event are focused solely on how the event appealed to them personally. And no event is going to appeal to all, so these are the people excluded this time.
But each event had been different somehow. They must want to give us fresh content. So the next event will have some other variation, and some will gripe about that. If we're lucky it won't be like Easter where a majority complains. The minority will have to be accepted because some people complain about everything anything.
Happy tapping! - Tie between Valentines 2014 and Easter 2014 IMO.
- ZennGlennRising NewcomerInteresting & somewhat entertaining thread... certainly generated an impressive amount of activity. I elect to abstain from voting though since I've only played since Xmas '13, and have actually pretty much enjoyed everything except for the crazy abrupt instant Winter thaw / end to the season which then resulted in losing my town for a week...however it opened my knowledge to this forum that aided me in regaining my town & learning much more about the groovy game & our portion of the world involved in it...
That all said, apparently /obviously I'm somewhat more of an optimist, but definitely dig some solid cynicism. I'm actually fairly on par though w/ some of the more constructive non-b*tchy commentary on here such as 4Junk3000 just decently summarized...
And on that note Stoncutters seemed best of what I've experienced so far, but if I'd played any past Halloween events they seem like they would have been my faves; so, certainly looking fwd to this one  penalak wrote:
This thread was made for people to fight and argue
I don't see any arguing going on. Just discussion and opinions.
And I am enjoying the thread because it is showing how other people are experiencing the game - it is allowing me to see the game through the eyes of others.00-marco_rosas wrote:

I think CoC may be suffering from its recentness. Wait 6 months and votes for CoC for being boring will disappear. This is akin to how Valentines 2014 was the worst event for a while. Now it hardly gets a mention.henpot7514 wrote:
I'm sorry, no-one can argue that Easter was the worst. Regardless if you hate CoC, Easter was by far the worst.
That's your opinion. If someone didn't share the experience you had with Easter then they won't share your opinion about it.
Could be. Or people will just get even more annoyed by it because it's going to drag on for another three weeks.
Maybe they will add some new content to it before it's over. That could change opinions. Also, hopefully they will allow storage of all of the castles, as those who don't like the prizes aren't going to enjoy having them take up space in their Springfields in the future.- I've taken part in every event since Whacking Day (that I loved, btw) and for me, Easter was the worst.
I don't mind so much that I didn't get everything; I'm not a completionist. What I didn't like is that even if I had played 24/7 for the whole duration of the event, I still probably would not have gotten everything. I've managed to complete every other event by putting in time and effort, and to me that's how it should be. With Easter, it was just a matter of luck and probabilities, and I don't enjoy those type of games in general.
CoC is not too bad for me, I kinda like the whole medieval theme personnally; however, I agree that it's way too long.
