Sweet Jesus how many times did you try to fix rain effect?? Driving in these conditions makes my head and eyes hurt
The rain/snow bug has been there since launch. If it's snowing at the start of the stage, there are never any effects on the windscreen. It's been logged so many times but never seems to have been acknowledged or fixed 😞
Pour corriger le crash vers le bureau au splash screen de EA Sports WRC, vous devez mettre à jour le programme anti-cheat. Voici comment procéder :
- Accédez au dossier suivant : ...EA SPORTS WRC\__Installer\EAAntiCheat
- Dans ce dossier, exécutez EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe.
- Cliquez sur Update pour mettre à jour l'anti-cheat.
Après cela, le jeu devrait se lancer correctement sans revenir au bureau.

To fix the crash to desktop at the splash screen in EA Sports WRC, you need to update the anti-cheat program. Here's how to do it:
- Go to the following folder: ...\EA SPORTS WRC\__Installer\EAAntiCheat.
- In that folder, run EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe.
- Click on Update to update the anti-cheat.
After this, the game should launch properly without crashing back to the desktop.
still blue screens my asus computer. kernel apc pending during exit. a bug thats been known about since at least october of last year. is there any plan on fixing this issue or just ignore it? have the moment time glitches been fixed? according to steam forums, no.
By the way, soft lock does not work with a Fanatec (PC, even in the current version). With historic vehicles, the steering wheel can sometimes be turned half a turn further than the virtual counterpart on the screen. Which of these is the correct rotation? This is irritating, especially as it runs synchronously until the impact, but then allows the physical steering wheel to turn half a turn further. In classes like WRC and WRC2, on the other hand, it fits perfectly.
It would be nice if it could work like in DR2.
I tried it with SEN Auto and the classic SEN 1080 and recalibrated it in the game every time. No difference. The only way out would be to create a separate profile for each vehicle and then link it to the Carlist. But then you don't get to drive after trying -.-
And because I've just seen it, there still seem to be some problems with the brake lights. On the Golf GTI, they're always on. And yes, I have adjusted the pedal play; this does not occur in many other vehicles.
A few points to note:
1. The suspension spring rates for the 2024 Toyota WRC Yaris are vastly different (50 instead of 116) to 2024 Ford and Hyundai. Is this on purpose?
2. The amount of potential cuts and 'off road' lines possible on Latvia and Poland is detracting from the stages. Please place more anti cut bollards on the corners if you can't do anything else about the stage models.
The dynamic weather system is completely broken. Rain should appear halfway or towards the end of the rally. But instead it rains from the beginning and has no effect on the car. No rain drops and working wipers, which only start working after the rain effect is triggered halfway through the track
Can you remove those stupid flying hoods from the game that swing around like a kite and overtake a car going 200 km/h? And what's even weirder - the hoods that open backwards also fall off, even though they should be pressed by air? Same with the doors that fall off like they're made of lego blocks.
