So overall been enjoying the game but some suggestions
-using fanatec pedals, the wrc rally 1 cars don't charge battery, they work as normal using a controller but using wheel and pedals, after the initial stage start the hybrid boost does not regen,
- the hybrid boost on the rally cars, if you have any boost left and release the throttle, this boost all disappears, I'm unsure if this is how the irl cars works so this may be right,
- gearbox setting dependant on the car (Hpattern or sequential depending on car)
-in the tuning menu there's no firm/soft or locked/unlocked so us idiots have an idea what we're changing will do
-some of the stages seem bumper bright, Sweden for example, can't remember the stage, it's so bright you can't see anything between the ground and the trees, had a similar issue on a road rally where the road was super bright.
- some rwd cars, especially the h3 escort, are so violently snappy that once a slide happens it seems impossible to save,
- the group A cars, although I've not driven all of them, feel really understeery, if pitched into a hairpin with liberal handbrake, stand on the throttle and the car straightens up away from where it's pointing,
-the grip, the tarmac physics are much better then dr2 but now the gravel just feels like slidy tarmac, there's so much grip that owning a handbrake feels completely redundant, because the cars don't slide at all, and if you try and slide them with the handbrake the car basically stops.
-the screen occasionally stutters at times, nothing major or game breaking but it does sometimes cause dicey moments
- the pace notes are really late, even on the earliest settings, the faster cars, group B and modern rally especially, some calls, not all, are way to late to be able to react to
Other than these, the games been really good, the 20 hours I've got in it so far feel like time we'll spend,
