I have a question regarding the livery creator.
will we have a livery creator like on wrc generations where we can reproduce real life liveries in the game like?
If not, will this feature return to this opus later?
Its a joke in my opinion.
You dont see any numbers for coordinates or decal size, you cant mirror it to the other side... How you can create with this "thing" good liveries?
If you copy such things from other games like forza then you should copy it right. But this is just useless.
- @StolleJay in fact it is quite problematic. but I really hope that we can create real-life liveries, such as redoing the liveries of drivers not present in the game like Sebastien Loeb at the Azores Rally.
After some further playing with the livery editor i can say definitelly it is just crap.
The minimum decal size is way too big. You cant copy decals, Decal preview on the left side does not update so you can just quess what decal it is you want to edit...
Please Codemasters. Remove those livery editor thing. Its useless.
- @StolleJay As a livery enjoyer in both Forza and CarX for example im in tears for this "thing" they call livery editor.. its the worst.
I tryed uploading some pictures and made a post but idk if that will ever help. We need a fix for this. Patch came yesterday. Still no copy button...
- @ibastiacci1905 In WRC Generation was very good livery editor tool. I really hope, that EA Sports could add similar livery editor tool to EA WRC and F1 game series in the future.
It’s really disappointing, as I first heard about it I was really happy to do things like I did in GT7 and I hoped that it’s a little bit better. I don’t remember the game but there was a possibility to create your own stickers, like u take different decals put it together and save it to reuse it completely without creating them totally new.
… now the game was released and it’s not like that, no it’s so different I really tried my best to create a good livery with the smallest option they have given us but I failed so often that I just gave up.
if they don’t change it I think I will never try it again.

This was Forza where you can create your own Stickers and save it to reuse it.
In GT7 you can upload you own stickers and can use it ingame.Let us see if the livery editor will change with the next patch. But i dont think that this will happen...
- @StolleJay 🤔 I’m wrong in what? Not remembering the name of the game were I was able to make my own stickers? I’m pretty sure it wasn’t forza for me b’cause i don’t play forza 😉
Yes I know that gt7 has the option to upload and as i said i created some really nice liveries and therefore I said i really hoped and hope that wrc 23 would be similar or better.
