This is a fantastic point. Throughout the whole game the only people you'll ever see is spectators at the side of the stage. Boring!
I'd love to even see the queue of cars at the start line, or come across other competitors that have either went off, or broken down mid stage. We've had stuff similar to that before so I'd love to have it again.
One thing I'd absolutely love is for the other cars in the class your rallying in to be on the stage at the same time, the chance of catching someone that's had problems, or being caught yourself if you're having a bad stage!

Dirt rally 2 looks a lot better, this game feels a downgrade, where is the light effects of sun? Where is the crowd? I would like more tracks in dirt rally 2...
Agreed. The rally courses appear lifeless. There seems to be a general lack of depth and richness of colour in the venues, plus lack of tactile and visual feedback. I to miss the sun and glare that would challenge your vision like in DiRT Rally 2.0. I also miss the loud rattle of stones clattering and thumping underneath the car.
I am concerned that the rally courses in some places like Oceania (New Zealand) appear visually flat, like a manicured campground track (unrealistic). There seems to be no undulations, no worn lane track, no real cambers, or even off cambers on corners, no shingle ridges that will pull/drag on the car, potholes, or even water table, like you would actually find on a real New Zealand shingle/gravel road. I am a Kiwi (South Island) and I have not seen a New Zealand shingle/gravel road like what is portrayed in this game. DiRT Rally 2.0 was very close to the real thing.
Please not more colors it will just make it look cartoony. Dirt 2 doesn't really look that realistic so I kinda like the path they are taking here even if it's not perfect.
