Quality of Life suggestions - WRC on Ps5
First off, in my opinion, the game is good. 7.5 out of 10 so far. I’m playing on PS5 and still get stutters and tearing in certain stages.
However, I really like playing the game and it’s got me hooked. Stages are excellent. Sound is excellent. Graphics are serviceable.
Anyhow, here are some things that should be addressed for a better quality of life:
- During replays, my pilot avatar does not turn the wheel. It’s just driving around with the wheel in the middle position… Needless to say it looks bad and prohibits the creation of credible in-cockpit videos
- I am experiencing a weird behavior when selecting Automatic Clutch where it somehow doesn’t release and the car does not drive forward but only moves on reverse. It may have to do with my particular setup (Fanatec DD Pro) but it shouldn’t happen anyhow
- In the Service Area menu, I feel Repairs should be a separate option and not inside the Vehicle menu.
- Also in the Service Area menu, please let us return to the Vehicle menu when exiting Tires or Setup instead of sending us back to main Service menu… it’s annoying
- Give us a main option to turn off all ghosts ever. I don’t like them and find them too distracting… and it’s annoying having to disable it every time
- Photo Mode should be accesible ‘live’ from the Pause menu while driving and not only during replays
- Also in Photo Mode, the scene becomes too dark after applying motion blur even with maximum exposure. Makes most screenshots unusable
