This would be absolutely excellent - along with a pacenote editor! Make it optional and let us save our modified notes too.
There are a lot of notes that need adjusting in this game. There just isn't enough information in a lot of cases, and in others the notes are literally just flat out wrong. It causes accidents and takes the fun out of the game.
