    Hey there,

The team is investigating this issue. We have another thread here to talk about the same problem.

Could you please fill these details?

    • EA ID:
    • Which platform are you on? (Steam/EA app)?
    • Are you getting an error message?
    • When did this start (date/time)?
    • If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip...
    • If on PC, please share a DxDiag file and an EA app Error ID Number

  • Something similar happened to me in 2.1.6. The previous version worked fine for me, so I think launch problems in different versions are caused by different things. I am running the game from EA app using EA play, but I figure all these errors could be related, because all of them actually use the EA app after all...

So, before 2.1.6 the game worked fine for me. Then on patch 2.1.6 the game did not launch. Only the EA Anti-Cheat splash screen and then back to the EA app. I probably tried everything, but found that the solution was an application running in the background. For me, it was an app called Windhawk, which I used to modify my W11 task bar. After closing this app, the game launched and has worked ever since.

In short, try closing all unnecessary applications from the background and see if that helps the game launch. Some people are experiencing the same thing with some USB devices connected on the PC, so unplugging devices and trying to run could also be a fix.

After you find out what is causing the problem, please report these findings to EA so they can fix these false positive anti cheat flags. Also, I for one would wish for more feedback on the EA anti-virus app so that it points out what is causing the game not to launch. Opening the EA app doesn't really tell us the problematic service/application/device...
