Game doesn't launch after splash screen

Same issue here. I bought the game on steam back in  2023, everything was fine even after the kernel level anticheat update, but after this one my game can't get past the intro screen. I really hope they fix it soon.

Having the same issue. Former IT Admin here so I did all the deep steps I could try but it seems to be an issue that needs to handled by the dev team. Thank you. Would love to keep enjoying this game throughout the holidays if possible.

Hi,

I am having an issue where on start-up my game crashes. It was fine after the latest update and then stopped working suddenly one day.

I have tried updating drivers and making sure all software is up to date. I have also tried reinstalling the game completely to see if that would solve the issue but to no success. 

Before the problem started there were no previous issues with the game running or start-up.

I have the same problem too... I'm super furious! after purchasing the dlc and after the new patch it has the same problem!!

Update 2.1.5 causes crash to desktop at launch immediatly after EA WRC logo (the so called splash screen) and before EA SPORT intro video.

Program worked properly at the start on my install till ver. 2.1

Yes i saw this but although my system is up to date, i don't have an update called KB5045594. This may vary due to regions (USA/EU)

Though even if i had this update, i might not be able to remove it since there's a restriction on which updates i can remove.
