So my account (this account) that I have used since 2016 and have mostly played apex legends and other ea games on Xbox. I recently got a gaming pc setup and can now play on pc, I tried to link my Steam account to my Xbox account so I could have all of my progress and skins and whatnot but a account that I don’t even know at all or ever had any relation to was linked to my account and when I tried to link my steam account which I have had for a long time too, it won’t let me. I have spent a lot of money and time on the Xbox account and would love to know how to fix this so I can play on pc with my Xbox account.

They will need to investigate the issue. I don't know if they'll be able to help or not.
Just in general will they be able to help me? Cause the pop up says only 1 steam account can be linked in a EA account lifetime but I didn't even know the steam account that was linked nor have ever used or heard or it, so after unlinking it now i cant link the steam account i actually want and use and have all my skins and stuff.

Try creating a case without logging in. Let's see if the chat option shows up then.

This is what it looks like under any article i cant see the chat button to get in contact with anyone about this issue.
When i open any article it shows me a picture of what the chat button should look like but when i go to make a request it doesn't show up anywhere

Try using the option for "I want to update my EA Account information".
