Yes i am getting the the same issue. This is on PS5 i have checked that well all have the same settings. We found a work around which wasn't perfect, basically the other 3 squad members enter a gane you you join them after.
Or
Host the game on your own, then select the mode you want, go to the squad screen then let teams mates join you, and launch the game then...dont do back into the mode selector screen.
