If the flares worked or there was an ECM jammer to counter this, it might be ok. But as it stands, Jets and Helicopters don't have a chance against it. If there's a Recon on the other team painting targets, might as well stay on the ground. Even then, out of vehicles. Because even the attack jet can lock on to a painted target, and it's all over for you.
