I re-logged back to EA launcher. Now under Manage there is the standard multiplayer around 6GB file "not installed". I try to download it now and report back if it fixed the issue.

I believe EA have rereleased the bugged multiplayer package and that's why after relog it's appearing again on the download list. Try downloading it. Mine is just about to finish.

Ok nope it's not fixing it. Tested and still same issue.
