On launch day, in the UK at 4pm I took time off work and away from family to sit and stare at "install content - you don't own the game" for 5/6 hours because I naively thought buying the game on the EA app would be the safest bet. The furthest I got was the firing range, and menus. These things happen, it was extremely frustrating, but do you know what, EA actually made things better by promising those effected tokens and free battlepass.
Cut to today, 9am Wednesday 15th October, and despite EA saying everyone has received their compensation, no one I know or have read has. It seems that if you were able to stare at menus for 6 hours then tough luck, you were playing.
Also, the fact everyone involved has gone radio silent on the matter compiles the frustration and growing anger. This is how you don't run a business because now customers are unhappy, are review bombing the game, and are in an even worse mess than before. Forget ever pre-ordering a game again or using the EA app.
EA_Leeuw What is happening? Where is the compensation? If there's been an issue pushing it can EA just let us know. If EA don't plan on giving it anymore then can they explain why so we can make our next step fully informed. Thanks.
