I did not receive the promised compensation for the EA App error on launch day.
I bought the game before its release, and despite this, I couldn't access the game for the next 5 hours due to an error that reported missing game files that had already been downloaded.
The funniest thing about it all is that a friend of mine, who was annoyed that the game wasn't working on the EA App, refund his purchase and bought the game on Steam. He played for a while, and when they fixed the problem, he refund the game on Steam and bought it again on the EA App, receiving all the promised bonuses, a total of 24 tokens, along with an apology message from EA.
Additionally, after those few hours, when I finally managed to get into the game, I received a daily reward. It was only on the first day after entering the game, and since then I haven't received a single daily reward.
I also didn't get the bonuses I was supposed to get for the pre-release purchase.
I wrote to support about this issue, but all I received was a message from a bot telling me to turn the game off and on again and then check if the missing content had appeared. To date, I have not received a response regarding the promised compensation.
WTF? 🤯
Out of the players I know, I think 2 or 3 were compensated out of around 14 players.
Two of those compensated had refunded and bought on Steam.
EA need to get on this.
It is really just insulting people at this point.
