So, I just received my Battle Pass in my mailbox. I did not logon to Portal servers on the release date. Clearly, by what I read here in the comments, that's why I got the compensation. I'm sorry for you guys because it was a frustrating experience that day. The last 2 weeks waiting for compensation that's not coming is even worse. EA should have been more specific about who was entitled and who was not.
I too did find, after 2h30 of searching, a post on how to get in a game by spamming the join button in the server browser.
That's not being able to play at launch. I was trying to play at 11h00am EDT without success so I think that I'm entitled to receive the compensations so do all of us that didn't received them.
