Have been asking from friends that I suspected were playing from EA app whether they indeed bought it from there and whether they had issues at launch. 9 of them had and out of all those 9 only 1 has received the compensation. When they say "We're aware that some players impacted by the EA app outage during the Battlefield 6 launch did not initially receive their in-game rewards. ", I would say more appropriate thing would be to say some players received it and most didn't.
I'm also curious whether all that didn't receive the compensation have the game listed as not owned in the ea support page when logged in (https://help.ea.com/en/games/)? And if those that did get the compensation have it as owned, or is it not listed as owned for anyone? Unfortunately the one guy I know got the compensation has yet to reply what it shows for him (doesn't show as owned for others).
