I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the compensation for the Battlefield V Phantom Edition pre-order, under ticket #224768621.
I purchased the game on launch day, and—as many players experienced—the game was practically unplayable due to severe technical issues. EA publicly stated that affected players would be compensated.
Despite opening a support ticket on the day of release, clearly stating that nothing worked, I am now being told that I am not eligible for any compensation. No one at EA Support has been able to explain why. Each time I reach out for clarification, I receive vague or contradictory answers, and it genuinely feels like no one is actually interested in helping.
At this point, I do not feel respected as a customer. The support agents seem unwilling—or unable—to provide real assistance, and the lack of transparency regarding eligibility is unacceptable.
I followed the correct process, reported the issue immediately, and I still have not received what was promised to players affected by the launch problems.
I expect a clear explanation and the compensation that EA committed to delivering
