EDIT: Can't suggest requesting partial refund, they dont even start a dialog with you, they just take all items from this payment.
Luckily I purchased through Klarna and paid £30 before I put a complaint in against them so I have got the £90 phantom edition for £30 because EA are too lazy to dispute anything
Thank you for mentioning this, I may try this after I have exhausted all my will to deal with them via the countless emails sent. I Encourage every one to do the same. Top man 👊👊
I recall reading that they ban your account if you dispute with paypal or make chargeback. I have no personal experience with this but it would be even bigger issue for me if I lost all my other games in the process, so unfortunately not an option I'm brave enough to try.
Another matter, it seems like the EA support page showing the game as not "Owned" is unfortunately a separate issue that's not related. I've got a reply from 3 people who claim to have received the compensation and two of them said they don't have the owned mark there either :/
