Console players shouldn’t struggle to find RedSec lobbies with crossplay off

Turning off crossplay shouldn’t mean you can’t find a game. Right now, console players who choose to keep crossplay off are struggling to find lobbies in RedSec Battle Royale Duos and Quads.

What’s frustrating is that console is a huge part of the player base, yet it feels like console-only players aren’t being prioritized in matchmaking. It seems like the system fills mixed/PC lobbies first while console players who specifically chose a console-only experience are left waiting.

A better solution would be using the massive console player base more effectively. There are plenty of console players who still have crossplay enabled simply because it’s the default setting. Players who disable crossplay should still be able to match with other console players, including those console players who have crossplay turned on.

The issue isn’t that crossplay exists — it’s that the matchmaking system doesn’t seem to prioritize the platform you selected. Give console players a better matchmaking experience instead of making crossplay feel like the only realistic option.
