It's a joke. In the last two days, many players have returned BF6 through the EA app, and now EA is sending an email apologizing and offering compensation for the problems in the form of boosters. That's a neat move by EA, especially since players now have to wait several days for a refund because there are so many refund requests for BF6. How is this supposed to work? If I returned the game and plan to buy it again on Steam, will I get compensation in the form of an XP boost and free access to BF6's second season? Will I get everything I had in the pre-order edition after purchasing it, i.e., the rewards for pre-ordering BF6, which I've now lost after the refund? Will they return it? Or is the late-breaking piece of cake you wanted to offer as an apology already gone sour, and many players who returned the game to the EA app won't get anything after purchasing it on Steam?
I would think, since it is a refund, all preorder bennies go too.
Fear not, they said by end of weekend we would be compensated, and here it is Wednesday after and still no one has their compensation.
So, now we want more compensation, since they now f*cked us twice.
Once at launch with being locked out and once where it was early enough we might have been able to catch up and they still have not helped us out, with an issue THEY created.
