German tech and games outlet ComputerBase have updated their original news from sunday about the promised compensation and added a poll to gauge how many people actually received it. The results are devastating, two thirds of participants said that they have not yet received the compensation. If we exclude players who refunded the game on EA App and have switched over to Steam, the picture gets even worse: 80% of participants who play via EA App have not received the compensation! Now while roughly 180 participants isn't exactly a huge sample size given the enormous player base of Battlefield 6, it sure is much more telling than any anecdotal evidence of a group of friends where one or two players have received the compensation and a handful of others have not.
