EA app Outage In-game Rewards
I am highly convinced that the problems with daily login rewards, Twitch drops and Compensation for EA App Outage are caused by a bug in the in-game mailing system.
Today (Oct. 21) marks the 11 day of PROBLEMS with missing acquired/promised content. The news tab is empty for most users who have reported the problem.
Even Vince Zampella himself confirmed that the issue is still being investigated. Since this situation affects a large group of players.
I would like to know when exactly the bug is planned to be fixed and missing content&compensation sent out.
Like and comment on this thread so it doesn't go unnoticed.

I feel i need to raise this issue given how unfair circumstances are, pretty much all of us who preordered digitally even buying the phantom edition are having to sit and wait to play on servers that are already active and full of players?
i feel like some form of xp boost or currency reimbursement is in order given most of us were unaware that it would not be a midnight launch ( why not considering streamers have been playing for the past few days ) most hardcopy players have been playing with other players gaining an unfair headstart to which i ask why did EA/Dice/Playstation think the utter stupid decision of releasing a game at 16:00 Uk time was fair and clever? it should have been a midnight launch like most games, i understand you wish to release the game digitally as the same time as the US for us in the UK but why when we won't even be playing on the same servers as the US?
so we're already coming in for the underdog just because some of us decided to buy digitally?? which cost more/the same as the hard copy versions?

Known issue, we see it all over. Pre-Order people who pre-loaded cannot play the game as it tells us we have to purchase campaign and multiplayer DLC that we already purchased.
All play should have been paused when this was discovered. Now, Steam, PSN, etc players progress while we cannot even play the campaign.
This should not be a hard patch, it is a licensing flag issue.
EA app users that cannot access the game for a length of time should be compensated as now our gameplay just got harder against higher level people from the get go.
We bought the game from the your company directly through your own app, you would think we would be the last people effected by issues like this.- stumps73118 days agoNew Spectator

Hi everyone,
Many players, including myself, purchased and preloaded the Battlefield 6 Phantom Edition. Unfortunately, since the official launch time at 5 PM CEST, the game cannot be started.
The EA App does not correctly recognize the Phantom Edition on Windows 11, leaving paying players without access to the game.
Since this issue seems to come from EA’s side, the question is:
Should EA offer compensation for affected buyers?Suggested poll options:
Yes, definitely – we paid and couldn’t play.
Yes, at least a small gesture, for example in-game items, EA Credit, or extended early access.
No, mistakes happen, no compensation needed.
Don’t care, just fix it quickly.
Please include your country, platform, such as PC with EA App on Windows 11, and edition in your comments so we can see how widespread the issue is.

Missing the xp boosters due to the issues day one, I was able to play on launch but only on the portal servers not official which was annoying due to all the bot lobbies. Contacted support and sent me here as they do everything but support.
EA tweeted compensation was given out but clearly not and all the replies to the tweet have the same issue

Same boat here, still no bonus.
I've been stuck in a support chat for over 30 minutes. Gave them all the info they wanted (purchase date, confirmed I got the bonus email, etc.) and they still have no clue if I'm actually getting it. Super frustrating.

I purchased the Phantom Edition and preloaded the game. On launch day, I ran into a "missing content" issue. I redownloaded the content and tried to play, but it was unsuccessful. The only thing I managed to do was join a portal server, but I couldn't even start the game because it was a custom server. I noticed that the spawns were in the center of the map and everyone who spawned was instantly killed. I closed the game and didn't play for the entire first day. The next day, I played without any problems since they'd fixed it. Now I'd like to know how to get the rewards you promised, since I don't have anything related to them in my inbox.

I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment with the launch experience of Battlefield 6. I pre-ordered the most expensive version of the game, the Phantom Edition, on October 9th, ensuring I could play on the official release day, October 10th. However, I have encountered persistent issues preventing me from accessing the multiplayer mode. Despite having downloaded the game and its content in advance, I repeatedly receive error messages indicating that the DLC is not installed or that the multiplayer mode is unavailable.
I have attempted troubleshooting steps, including verifying game files and reinstalling the game, yet the problem persists. I find this unacceptable, especially given the high expectations set by the game's promotional campaigns and the recent controversies surrounding other titles like Call of Duty Black Ops 7.
Given EA's extensive experience in launching major titles, I believe there should have been adequate preparation to handle the anticipated demand. As a resolution, I request compensation for this frustrating experience. Specifically, I believe that those who purchased the standard version should receive access to the Phantom Edition as a goodwill gesture. Additionally, I urge you to consider providing a partial refund or other form of compensation to those of us who purchased the premium version.

Hello everyone im here sitting in front of my pc, because the weekend has ended and i haven recieve the promised rewards, would like to know the **bleep** its happening, pre-ordered the phantom edition, and the 10 of october i have to wait till 11pm (cet) to be able to play the game, 6h from the launch (almost 7 because 23:40 or something like that)
I red some people tried the portal bug and got it fixed, yet even that didnt worked for me, and im here, sitting watching how there is no information about anything of what its happening about them

Just like many others I still have yet to receive my promised compensation...... phantom edition pre ordered pre installed and told nothing was installed on launch day. Seen a few people online saying they got messages with rewards but many people saying they didn't get it, I am one of those. I will not rest until I get it EA

As the title says ive yet to recive my compensation, i wasent able to play during the launch of battlefield 6 but i was able to play the morning after. I was wondering if anyone has recived their compensation and if you have did you anything special to get it. I can wait for a bit longer but it would be nice to recive it soon.

I for one havent recieved anything and im starting to think that im not going to. Have activated two tickets about this to EA support. First was closed, The second one IS waiting for reply from the customer service. Been hours now and nothing. Was a bit annoying that my friends were able to play at launch but i wasnt. Even reinstalled the game when i thought the error was at my end. Customer service is a joke

I've got the same issue, EA App outage caused me and my friend to not be able to play the game.
I've been really pleased to see on Twitter that people impacted by this incident will receive a compensation.
I've also seen a few people, still on Twitter, posting screenshots that they've received their compensation.
Yet, still nothing for me...Though, be aware, there was some people on reddit commenting that if you, by any chance, managed to enter a community server by spamming like a pig, and play even 5 seconds, you are not eligible for a compensation.
It's reddit so... it's worth what it's worth (not as in reddit isn't legit, more as in only EA has the answer on this matter), and this there's also plenty of people who haven't been able to play at all and didn't get anything yet... Wait and see I assume... I made a ticket on the support about it just a few minutes ago, when (if) I get an answer, I'll let you know (if I remember to)So am I, still waiting, for this things to be received ♪

Honestly, this whole situation is beyond frustrating. Like so many others, I haven’t received any compensation, even though it was clearly promised. What’s the point of making commitments if you just ignore them afterward? I even opened a support ticket, but of course — no response at all. EA, is this really how you treat your own customers? It’s incredibly disappointing to see that players who bought the game through your own launcher are being completely ignored, while Steam users get compensated. That’s just unacceptable.

Yeah also didn't get it yet.
But they did say that people who joined community servers during launch day will be excluded.
So I played a few rounds, if not bad rounds, on community servers.
