I had a crash issue that I couldn't figure out either, think I tried as much as you did OP, except playing with the already updated bios
You were onto something regarding the easy anti cheat files, I play on steam, and so in my case I was running steam as a administrator (to make a old steam controller work in desktop better) running steam as a admin isn't normal, and the moment I restarted steam normally - all the crashes disappeared, thinking is that running steam as a admin disrupts and interferes with EAC files and possibly the DRM
If you're running steam as a admin, try normally as it's actually not advised in general via steam devs, but if you're not playing via steam I'm not sure I can help you

Problem is, I dont run steam as an admin. So got the issue without it.
