[Solved] Game crashes when loading save files with Jack Doohan

Well, as it turns out, all I had to do was to reinstall the game, because now my career files with Jack Doohan are working again. 

Sorry for the trouble I have caused. Maybe I should have tried the simple options first before jumping to conclusions. 😊

I still wouldn't mind if you could add Jack Doohan as a dedicated free agent in Driver Career and My Team for the next big update. Since he was part of the IRL season, it would make the game more realistic.

Look, I appreciate your attempts to help me, but at this stage, I think we should give up. 

I don't think uploading a save file will do any good. I personally think that something goofed with the update which causes my game to not work as it should. 

Let's just stay where we are for now and wait for the next big update. Maybe you guys can add a dedicated free agents tab for Jack Doohan only with the upcoming series - that would be a 100% safe option to fix it, as Doohan would be part of new career saves again. But even if that's not possible, maybe the next update will fix this problem. 

I dunno, it's probably a 1 in a trillion chance to trigger, and I happen to be the one to get it. I can try reinstalling the game to see if that does anything and leave the "nuclear option" (wipe all save files) as a last resort.

Our team is having trouble reproducing this issue. Could you please upload a save file?

1. Enter "Settings > Saved Data and Game/App Settings > Saved Data(PS5) > Console Storage".
2. Set focus on save data which you want to upload as investigation data.
3. Press options button and select "Upload saved data for investigation".
4. Select "Upload".
5. Read "Saved Data Usage Agreement" and check "I Agree" then "Upload"

Like I said, it's very hard to reproduce, since not everyone has run into this problem. 

But if you insist, here's the info:

• I reached Season 2 of My Team not too long ago. 
• I didn't sign Jack Doohan for Season 2. He's still with Alpine. 
• Round 3 in Jeddah. 

The thing is, I tried starting a new save in GP Mode, and everything worked great. I was able to do Qualifying, I was able to get to the grid, the race itself worked fine...

But ever since the update that brought Colapinto into the Alpine, my old saves before said update have become unplayable because I can't get into a race weekend. The game tries to load Jack Doohan, but it can't. 

Like I said earlier, I think the best way to fix this without breaking the game too much is:

1. Create a dedicated free agents tab in Driver Career for Jack Doohan only. No other drivers need to be put in there. 
2. Add Jack Doohan to the free agents in My Team, including the option to hire him when starting a new save. 

Since I stated this problem as Extremely Rare, I think reproducing it is close to impossible. Adding Jack Doohan as a free agent to new saves might probably be the only way to get my save files running again. And if it's not possible, then I guess I'll have to start over in all modes. 

EDIT: As a compromise, if the team can't reproduce it, AND adding Jack Doohan as a free agent is impossible, just mark it as solved and I'll wipe my save files.

• Which season of My Team Career were you able to reach?
• In which season did you negotiate to have Jack Doohan in your team?
• What race weekend have you reached in the My Team Career save?
• If you did not negotiate for Jack Doohan to be in your team, in what team did he end up?

I want to be completely honest here, I think adding a dedicated free agents tab for Jack Doohan would be enough to get my save files to work again. He doesn't necessarily have to be put into the Alpine again. 

EA_Groguet​ Do you think this can be done? Because the other option is if I wipe all of my saves and start from zero, but since one of my saves contains a My Team career that I got pretty far into, I don't want to. This here is a very rare case, so trying to replicate it is nigh impossible.
